Traveler Confidential took a look at some vacation costs for Canada and here’s what we found on one travel booking site. For one person, a week in Vancouver from Los Angeles, costs between $800 and $3,500. This includes airfare from LAX and a three-star or higher hotel. Meanwhile, a week in Montreal or Quebec from New York City runs you between $700 and $3,000. The fact that you can get a one-week vacation, including airfare and hotel, for under $1,000 might entice many U.S. travelers.

The best way to start searching Canadian trip deals right now is to visit one of the many travel booking sites like Skyscanner, Kayak, Orbitz, and Priceline. Using the new Google Destination tool can also help, since it lets you set your own price right off the bat. And, don’t forget to sign up for airfare alerts on Airfarewatchdog.
