NEW TRAVEL SERIES EXPLORES GREAT LOCATIONS THROUGH GREAT INVENTORS
We watch travel shows to learn about destinations. Episodes usually showcase locations through food, wine, landmarks, culture, and heritage. But, a new show is delving deeper by highlighting some of the most gorgeous places in the world by taking a look at their tech scenes. Bloomberg TV’s new series, “Hello World“, shows us various countries by introducing us to some of their mad geniuses.
In the first episode, Bloomberg reporter, best-selling author, and travel host Ashlee Vance visits New Zealand. There, he hangs out with innovator Richard Little. Little’s claim to fame is creating exoskeletons that helps paralyzed people walk again. The 10-episode series shows us how local tech entrepreneurs in various countries are influencing each country’s approach to technology and having a global impact.
The first episode aired this month, and the next episode airs April 27 with Vance traveling to Sweden to break bread with the founder of Spotify, Daniel Ek. New episodes air once a month for the rest of the year. You can watch full, 30-minute episodes on the Bloomberg Business YouTube Channel or by clicking here to see where Bloomberg TV airs in your area.
