CELEBRITIES QUEEN LATIFAH, ERIC STONESTREET, TERRY CREWS, AND JON CRYER GETTING TRAVEL SHOWS
We’re used to seeing actors Eric Stonestreet, Terry Crews, and Jon Cryer playing comedic characters – Stonestreet on ABC’s “Modern Family,” Crews in the big-screen action flick “The Expendables,” and Cryer on the Emmy-winning TV show “Two and a Half Men.”
But, this summer all three are set to step out of character and take us on adventures around the world. They’ll star in various episodes of the new Travel Channel series “Celebrity Adventure Club.” Look for Stonestreet to show us the fascination people have with World War II espionage in an undisclosed destination. Crews will stop in Detroit to explore the motor city’s rebirth. And, Cryer will look at space exploration. “Celebrity Adventure Club” begins airing in August.
While these actors will still be in front of the camera documenting their travels, Queen Latifah is taking another approach. She’ll co-executive produce the Travel Channel show “The Best Place To Be.” This show will put A-list celebrities in the travel host seat. In each episode, various celebs will take us to their international cities. They’ll show us where to eat, where to shop, what to see, and where to stay. “The Best Place To Be” debuts in July.
